My friends page is MASSIVE, it's impossible to keep up with. It's nothing personal, I'm uncurably nosy about other people's lives and I like reading, but I've hardly got time to talk to people because there's so much to scroll through so I need to cut some journals. BUT I've got no idea who's lurking and wants to stay and who just scrolls past...

This is not related to your post, but I have been feeling irritated and frustrated with lj lately, like so many people have quit posting as they migrate to twitter or facebook or offline altogether. Those sites are fine, but neither is a replacement to me for lj and it's sad to see it being outgrown. I have over 200 journals friended but only a dozen or so post anymore (and even less comment), and I find so little of it interesting or relatable. I'm not sure if it's them, or me changing. Sometimes I am like, I should just do a giant friends cut and get rid of the inactives, but then I am like, whatever.
However, the handful of people (like you) who still update regularly and have interesting things to say, even if it's just posting about day to day life, keeps me checking in and scrolling past all the feeds, communities, fucking loudtwitter, clutter etc. So I appreciate that. :)

Anyway, I like your spam! Even if I don't comment a lot. This is as close to a NYR as I ever get: Must Try Harder. :)
