*Sollux is sitting against the tower, flipping through his journal. He looks up when Isabella nears and pulls a slip of paper out of the book.*

Hey. Sup?

[A confused expression crosses her face as she approaches.]

[Sorry, Sollux. Different time period.]

You had wanted to speak to me and others?

I found something that might be important.

[It's not long at all for Kevas to arrive at the pools, and he can't help but notice the kid's arm. He might have to ask about that later.]

[Isabella turns at the sound of Kevas's voice. She gives a polite curtsey and a smile to him but, otherwise remains quiet. For the moment.]

Yeah, I got something from the messengerbirds that looks like it might mean something.

*He places his first note on the ground before him. The second is noticably sticking out of his journal at a random page, but he doesn't think its as important.*

[Nepeta is last to appear, having taken a while to remember that nt was what Sollux called her now that they weren't using trollian.

She sneaks up behind Sollux and peers over his shoulder at the note.]

[Kevas tips his hat to Isabella, but when Sollux shows his note his attention quickly focuses on that.]

Well I'll be damned...

[He doesn't continue. Instead he reaches into his pocket and pulls out his second note, placing it next to Sollux's.

There's a chance they may not be connected but it certainly looks like they're talking about the same thing.]

I have seen that handwriting before...

[She points to Sollux's note.]

It was on a pigeon and it said something about "putting the gear where he won't find it".

*"nt" is the name he's using now that he's trying to be friends with her, too, or at least act like it since he wasn't seeking her out to hang out.
He might use "ac" if asked, but he'd probably forget half the time sometimes.

He looks up to Nepeta.*

I dunno. I got another one about some guy who never blinks, but that doesn't really make sense. Unless he's what they've got locked down there...

*He scratches his head a bit, near his horns.*

I don't really know what to make of it all, yet, but it might be worth checking out.

A quest?

[She pauses, looking thoughtful, and then glances sideways at Sollux. She doesn't want to go on a dangerous kind of quest, not after her encounter with the kitty. But she doesn't want to stay behind!]

[On one hand, everytime she pairs up with Sollux it seems to get him more and more injured. On the other hand, they would not be alone this time, and she would really like to know what was going on around this place.]

I'd like to go, but I'm not sure how to find it. If an entrance is outside it might be through the pools...I've never been inside this tower, so I don't know if its in there or not.

[Nepeta pulls a face at the prospect of swimming. It is definitely not her favourite thing.]

Perhaps we should split up and two of us look inside while two of us look in the water?

[She will just make sure she is in the inside pair.]
