good post. i agree with the whole not liking bands just 'cause the are popular. but, sometimes when a bands gets big it starts to suck. i mean, look at no doubt... they suck ass now. they used to be a kickass ska band, but not anymore. or blink, listen to dude ranch and enema of the state. those were really good albums. after that they just kinda didn't sound as good coming through the speakers. their lastest album is really bad.

i think that it is a perfectly good reason to hate the band. if their album is shit, then what's the point in liking them anymore? yeah, they might come out with a new album that's good, but it's not likely. i loved blink, until the album Take Your Pants Off and Jacket came out. i new that blink wouldn't be blink anymore.

thought some bands do make better music once they become popular. look at the strokes. their first album was awesome. their second album... EVEN FREAKIN' BETTER! becoming popular can kill a band, or strengten it.

That's shit, Mitch. I swear. It's not a perfectly good reason to hate a band. Just because a new album sucks, mean you have to drop the old stuff and fucking hate the band forever? That's just shit.
