We managed to give away some of Danny's tapes. I offered them on Freecycle and wasn't expecting any takers as videos are so passe now. However I had five(!) people put up their hands and I had to "choose" who to gift them to instead of trying to find someone to dump them on.

I bet there's some wacky individual out there (probably in the US) who's gathering up as many VHS tapes as possible ... to build a house out of them. After all, a tape is kinda like a brick and imagine how news worthy it would be if someone said "yep we used 1.7 million tapes to build a place to live".

The best thing about it is that if they're ever struggling for something to do, they could always wack a brick into a player and see what's on it LOL
