Have been having a "Modern Technology, isn't it crap" time with my DVD recorder. The last few days it's either not burning from the hard drive to the discs or not finalizing the burnt disc. As I'm in the middle of my massive clip transfer from vid to DVD it is extremely annoying. I intend trying a different brand of DVD disc but if that don't work ( Read more... )

I confess I used to feel this way too when I used to have process death records when I was at the ABS, especially all the teen suicide ones.

We have formally moved staff from the old company to the new one and rather unexpectedly (for the workers) shed about 10% of staff. This is due to the usual thing of the old company having several duplicate positions to the new, but there had been no talk of redundancies previously. I have been making great efforts in decluttering in recent weeks.
