Tyler joined the gym today... we're going to get back in shape together. I say this after downing a bottle of wine last night while Tyler and Matt shared a 12-pack of Henry's. We also smoked through a pack of cigarettes while watching Shawn of the Dead (WAY better then I thought it'd be... but that could've been the wine). I'm hoping that ( Read more... )

I'll be working at the Department of Health & Social Services with the Chemical Dependency program. They want me to do a project involving the older adult populations of Thurston and Mason counties to find out where the gaps are in their chemical dependency services. There's a huge substance abuse problem involving seniors that goes untreated due to inadequate treatment programs for them.... so yeah, something along those lines. I'll be interviewing senior centers, nurcing homes, clinics, rehab centers, etc. to find out what they know about the issue.

No, I didn't post about it... I kindof fell off the LiveJournal bandwagon for a while.

It's an internship with the Health Department focusing on chemical dependency in the aging popluation of Thurston and Mason counties. The Chemical Dependency department got extra funding this year so they're hiring me to figure out the gaps in the area's substance abuse treatment.

Yeah... Tyler and Matt have been best friends since they were in middle school. They're really cute together. We have a lot of fun with Matt. He lives right up the street from us now so we see him all the time.

Haha, "Kimboy"? Yeah, I've met him a few times. He's really nice. It's awesome that he's a full-fledged pilot now.
