Ohhh, come with us!!! Please?? The trip would be 1000x better if you went too! All we're going to do is eat good food, drink fruity drinks and lay on the beach.

Only problem is that tickets cost an arm and a leg... literally. :( I'm gonna be broke for a long while once we get back.

1) I am incredibly happy that you used the correct couldn't care less rather than the more common could care less.

2) You will be broke, but vacations are SO worth it. Though it is better to save the cash than to do like me and put it on a card and pay it off later. (That's how I paid for both trips to Europe.)

the secret to cheap ass plane tickets is to find someone who works for an airline that will let you use one of their "buddy pass" discounts.
i had a round trip to new york for my birthday that was only $150 thanks to my steward pal.

Thanks, but unfortunately none of my current friends or friends' families work in the airline industry. A friend from two years ago had a mom who worked for NWA but I haven't talked to him in over a year. I can't just call him out of the blue and ask for a favor like that. Unless I meet someone in the next few days with "buddy pass" discounts, I doubt they're in my future.
