I redesigned my journal!
The result of phone conversation doodling and a fight with s2 layout logic.

I was just about to reply to your email, but will now respond here:
thank you for telling me about the Frankfurt (Oder) radio programme! I listened to it while I made the final adjustments.
It was pretty good, actually, and I quite enjoy listening to the British pronunciation of German words and names. :)

Oooh, I love love love this! Your idea of writing "now, then, they" is brilliant. Doodles are wonderful. Colour scheme is classy. And, the best thing is memories are enabled so I can add to this category. ;-)

10 out of 10.

Thank you!
I had you in mind when I made sure that the memory function was enabled :D
How flattering! Going through that category made me remember entries I had as good as forgotten already.

LJ eats comments. Grr.

I tried to thank you... and pointed out that I made sure the memory function was enabled with you in mind. :D
I feel quite flattered... also, going through that category made me find entries I had as good as forgotten. It's strange to look back sometimes - 'Hey, I wrote that?'

Yes. I've found that intuitive playing around with S2 leads to better results than thinking about it too much.

oh wow! that's really gorgeous! it's actually exactly the sort of thing i wanted, once... i wanted hand-drawn and handwritten stuff, but i'm a terrible graphic artist. i ended up scanning something and using a font that looks like handwriting.

i love yours!

Amazing! I'd like to make my own layout sometime, once I get a paid account. Is there a website that teaches you how to do this? It's really awesome :o)

Thanks :)
Do you know any html? There are websites that teach you about that, and there are a few communities on lj that try to explain how to make layouts... but it involves much searching and being confused and trying around until it works ;)
