OH MY FUCKING GOD!!

I can't sleep, so I'm just wandering aimlessly on the net, and I just came across a quote of Rufus explaining about what inspired him to write the song "11:11"..

"There was a period in my life where every time I looked at the clock, it was 11:11. It was weird. And then there was September 11 and Flight 11 - it was time to buy a lottery ticket or ( Read more... )

Oh Rufus. <3333 I think we all do that. We just notice the weirdo times more than the normal ones, so it seems like they happen more often.

I know what you mean, and for a while I thought just that, but then I realized that I've been seeing 22:22 in the weirdest places (like the digital display on a bus, which wasn't correct and was a few hours ahead of time...) at all times of the day, EVERY DAY for three months straight. It was at a time when I was sick, and then I had to go through surgery, and the first day out of surgery - I no longer saw it! I know this sounds a little like "Miracle Max" or something, but that's the only reason I actually paid attention to it. It was sooo bizarre....

I do it with 3:08. I see a clock at 3:08 nearly every day. Sometimes in the morning, too. It's bizarre because that was the time that high school used to finish. It always makes me a bit O_o.

I told my story to a couple of friends, and one of them - who's the last person on earth I'd say talks out of his ass.. - said that research linked this ::enter Brian's 'air quotes':: phenomenon with maniac-depression.
good times, eh?

my thoughts exactly..
someone else suggested OCD. knowing myself, I highly doubt it.

That happened with me for random things. I had 11:57 and 4:21 a lot whether it was the clock, locker combo, lisence plate, etc.

this will sound utterly stupid, but I was absolutely sure I was losing my mind when I started noticing it. I thought I was the only one having this, since I couldn't find anything on it on the net.
I need to work on my googling skills... ;O)

I don't even think I could try to google it since I have no idea what it could be called!
