Follow the Yellow Brick Road to The Emerald City of Oa

I've been watching the Green Lantern Animated cartoon, and among other things this has sprouted fan fic idea.

Because dude, both the Lantern Corps and the Land of Oz are color coded. And this obviously (in my brain) means that they must go together.

And you know what - it works out surprisingly well.

First I think, I'm running to my closet/library (I can't be the only one to ever have seen that their room had a walk in and immediately thought that my bookshelves would fit inside to make a tiny library, right?) and grab The Annotated Wizard Of Oz book that I was given a while ago, but haven't gotten around to much more than casually flipping through, and use this as an excuse to devour it

Have you thought of entering in the Manhunters? I believe these were the guys the Guardians used first but they were more or less brainless sentinels. I know once in a while the Manhunters end up being bad guys.

Razer could have been out chopping and comes home to find out she's dead because he wasn't there to protect her. With that, his heart that had been holding together as the last living thing in him dropped dead.

I hadn't thought of using the man hunters. I think you are right, that feels like something that should fit nicely in there *eyes plot outline*

O.O Poor Razor, he needs a heart, because he gave it to his beloved (I should probably remember her name at some point) and now his heart is gone~. And finding and getting to know Aya means getting his heart back ~ That is so sweet I almost can't stand it, and yet it's perfect. I swear, they aren't subtle about it at all, and yet at the same time they are, and the more the two of them do things for/with each other and don't see anything romantic in it the harder I ship them.

I swear if anything happens to those two in the show, I will cry. I will be crying man tears for this.

I was always thought man tears were a step more than outright bawling on the scale of stereotypes given that men "don't cry"?

On the other hand you can have your completely undignified tears of woe. I refuse to ruin my make-up for anything, even in the name of shipping. I have standards to keep!

Perhaps it's because I usually hear Man Tears referenced more tongue in cheek?

Either way between the two of us we'll have all the tears covered. And since I don't wear make up we won't even have to worry about any running XD
