Unpopular Opinion Time!

On eBooks, eReaders, and normal books:

To be totally honest, I prefer eBooks to real books sometimes. Like, when I’m off to school and I already have to carry around thirty pounds of textbooks, and then I want to bring along a book or two to read during my free time? It’s a heck of a lot easier to just stick my nookColor or tablet in my bag than ( Read more... )

This is a question near and dear to my heart. I love my ereader for convenience and the ability to cram 57 books and 496 fanfics in little purses. I'm poor ;O; and I don't have an eReader, I'd like one, though, to read manga xD it's like the perfect size! Since I study law I really, really print and read a lot D: but it's not the same studying from a paper text than a paper online, since you pretty much make annotations, highlight in many colours, and even make tinny drawings out of boredom.

It's more of the kind of book you're reading, sometimes it's just so perfect sitting and reading a book and you could be either a person in the XVI century or a girl in the modern world, it's so nice *-*. And I think eBooks make piracy (That's the name in english?) easy, really, really easy... like hell I'd buy something as an eBook, I want to feel the damn thing I get!

So... BOOKS 4 LIFE!

Oohh, discussions. I like discussions. Thank you for giving me the chance to talk at anyone on the internet for no real reason. You enabler, you. B\

“Do you have an eReader?:” no, although I have a feeling that I’ll be coming into ownership of a Kindle soon. That aside, my mother has a Kindle and I’ve tinkered around on it a bit in the past. I’ve read an unholy amount of text on computer screens, but as none of them were tablets I don’t think that actually counts. Still, I’ve got a mite of experience with eReaders ( ... )
