Where are the comments? This is a remarkable story, bringing together elements that aren't usually juxtaposed, and making it work emotionally as well as thematically. Jo and Castiel are marvelous together, and Cas-as-human is still able to take comfort from her memory and her thoughts.

What a gorgeous fic, truly. Just saw it on spncastiel and my interest was piqued by the pairing, which I've not seen before. I really love how you jumped out of the episode and what you did with this odd closeness that developed between Cas and Jo (a character I loved and still mourn!). The talk about the pjs is gorgeous. I'm really glad I stopped by: thank you so much for sharing this lovely idea.

Ugh. I love love love Jo/Cas especially on that night. This was beautiful and I definitely teared up at the pajamas. Cas taking Jo to see the northern lights on her last night is just wonderful.

Here on a rec, this was an utterly exquisite character study and, to me, a completely plausible version of what could have been. And this is not even a ship I've ever given thought to in the past.
