a historic event... the last time he will ever play a venue with chairs in the arena...

I wholeheartedly agree. The energy level was pitiful. Although the previous show at the Orpheum was also burdened by seats on the floor, Tuesday night's show had a completely 180 degree different vibe. Yes, back in May I thought of Trent as the biggest, yet most beautiful asshole ever, making tickets to his small venue tour so goddamn hard to acquire, but the small venue makes the difference, made it worth it. The connection was there. The Fleet Center crowd on the other hand, which I expected to be much more angst driven and crazy and excited 20 fold in comparison with the Orpheum crowd, was lame. The fact that I could see even one empty yellow seat made me angry. Though I wanted each and every seat to be filled by a person who knew how to appreciate the show, or at the very least wanted to learn how to. Fuck all of you stupid twats that go because your boyfriend had an extra ticket, or you've heard "Closer" a 1000 times so you feel like you have some sort of connection with the band. The fact that you even think of NIN as a band ( ... )
