hi. this is the first thing ive written in a while. and i really like it. so deal with it.

horizon

with shattered wings,

and muffled cries

they sit on the perch

waiting diligently for thier captor

to return

as pain flashes

through thier jaded eyes once more.

when they sleep

they are restless

but when awake

listless.

unable to let go

of thier
