Why was Anna Nicole Smith's death all over the news sites this weekend and why is Elton John re-writing candle in the wind for her? Sure whenever someone dies it's sad but people are acting like she was some sort of dignitary intstead of someone who posed for playboy and put her train wreck of a life on display for all to see.

Elton John is re-writing candle in the wind for her? He did that for Princess Diana when she died...so he's putting Anna Nicole Smith in the same category as Princess Diana? Did he re-write it for Saddam Hussien too when they executed him?

Well Anna Nicole didn't systematically execute millions of people I think William Hung would be a better example

people love disaster, i think we as a society feed off of it because were sick. we loved watched her fat bloated and on drugs, we loved watching her trying to rip off an 89 year old dying man, we loved watching her suddenly skinny and methed out.

pop culture loved her because she was nuts, and thats why its such a big deal thats shes gone now, theyre upset because they no longer have anything to gawk at.

Yeah i'd expect it from VH1 and E but MSNBC had it on ALL day Friday MSNBC is supposed to be "real news" Today's top story Anna Nicole Smith died oh yeah someone who has a really good chance at becomming the first black president is announcing his running tomorrow now back to Anna Nicole Smith and us pretending we don't know she died of an overdose

A few theories one is now that now that 97.1 had to pay to get the Red Wings and Tigers on they had to cut her because she was getting paid too much for the budget.

Gregg Henson's blog has some inside info that Towers has been trying to get her fired and finally succeeded. Bill McAllister and Jay Towers is better than Jay and Michelle but Gregg and Michelle was better than everything

i agree, bill is my favorite anyway, he just comes off as a very intelligent, likeably guy with an awesome sense of humor. jay towers is kind of a douchebag & he didn't really click with michelle very well. i was just surprised because i can only listen to 97.1 when i'm home from kzoo for the weekend, and i totally didn't see that one coming.

i went to see gregg & michelle at lakeside last yearish and i was too scared to take a picture with them. now i'm so mad that i chickened out :[
