so true. i have $264 in my bank account and 200-something in my checking which i dont touch and i wont until i get a job. im still living off of my christmas money and money i never spent from work and im down to my last hundred, still with no job in sight.

right now me and my girlfriend are stuck in this rut where were getting carry out most nights. its usually just taco bell so its not that expensive but it adds up. also ive spent probably a couple hundred combined at tim hortons on the way back from wdfn and cafe obears while im at school. youre right, that convience adds up.

all money that im owed, from tax returns and money that my parents owed me too im telling my dad to save to cover my first couple car payments.

and my girlfriend is broke too. her situation is so similar to yours except shes spending 200 on new glasses, no strip clubs.

you do pay a lot for convienence, which I happen to know a lot about over the last couple years at school. In my accounts I'm pretty much bone-dry too, but I don't do much else to help alleviate the situation.

along with kyle, seems like all I do is order out nowadays. I hate vandenburg food, but I've got plenty of free meals on there...should use 'em.
instead I'm out at a restaurant or something.
I'm not even that much of a 'spendy' person when it comes to electronics, music, or any of that....it's all restaurants.

when I get cash, I most likely spend rather than save, and that's been a bad habit of mine for quite some time, but it'll certainly change with time.

well at least I hope so
