"Your defiance is starting to annoy me," Adria said, her eyes narrowing a moment. Though, she knew he would continue to resist her as long as he was held like he was. A smirk formed on her lips and she reached out, grasping his chin between her fingers again.

"Oh, Jonas," she sighed dramatically, and then she soothed her other hand down his cheek, focusing her powers on the cuts and bruises on his face. She could feel the power flowing through her hands and before long his face was blemish free again. "I would release you, heal you fully....Perhaps even release your friends," she murmured, turning his face from side, looking him over.

"All you have to do is freely give yourself to me."

For a moment, Jonas could only stare at her. He was expecting demands, like where were the rest of his rebels or when had he last contacted the SGC? Not...this. It almost sounded like...no, he had to be misinterpreting.

And the power...the raw power he could feel as his wounds mended quickly sent a shiver down his spine. It was frightening, especially given the vulnerable position he was in.

"Pardon me for not understanding but...what?"

She soothed a hand down his cheek again though she leaned back so she could better see him. She couldn't help but smile, the confused expression on his face was absolutely priceless. She knew he had been expecting something else, but this was part of the fun. Keeping him thrown off.

"I do not believe I stuttered. I said all you have to do is freely give yourself to me," her head cocked a little to the side. "Be my companion. In all ways. It is not such a horrible price, is it?"

Nope, Jonas had heard her right, though he still was having trouble believing it.

"And what, be your pet? Your bed warmer? You have hundreds of thousand of millions of followers who would no doubt jump at the chance and you'd rather have a rebel leader and ally of your greatest enemy, who would be looking for every chance he could to betray you, as your closest companion. Oh no, you didn't stutter Orici, but I'm doubting the sanity and wisdom of your request."
