Well, my little flat is gradually getting more and more liveable. I've made tissue-paper blinds to obscure the front windows, but with my lack of craft abilities they've come out styled not so much Japanese as Crapanese. But hey, at least I'm not providing a floorshow for the local subway station any more (much to the neighbourhood's relief).

Mmmmm I love moving into a new place and trying to figure out what to do with it. That being said... we've done nothing with our place but put some pictures on the walls! XD

I would like to change paint colour, strip wallpaper, redo flooring, and get a piece of custom furniture but I am terrified of messing it all up! Plus, you know, I'd rather pay my mortgage at this point. ^_^

Rats?! Aie! We do not have rats here in Alberta and I've only seen them twice, once in California running along a sidewalk and once as someone's pet in California, but I can imagine how horrible they could be! Mice are bad enough!

Well, I've now discovered and unpacked all the various bits of kit necessary to get pictures from my digi camera to the hard drive, and I've downloaded the Gimp so that I can shrink said pix down from the insane memory-gobbling native format, so I'm uh, getting there
