I walked through that alleyway again - the one in Chinatown with the open-air bun stalls. Of course I weakened and bought a pork bun. Hhhhaha! The borax is for rice rolls. I should post that scallion pancake recipe now that I've made it twice. It's simple and delicious.

Man, do I ever wish there was a source of fresh-steamed buns nearby.

Yeah, I've got two reasons to visit chinatown now: bishonen and tasty buns. Though come to think of it... *blush*
