A friend told me about a trick with Kid A: if you set up two speakers playing it, i.e. the computer and the portable mp3 player, and start one of them 17 seconds after the other, the effect is incredible along the same lines as the fabled Dark Side of Oz mashup ( Read more... )

In light of the downloadable Radiohead release coming on Wednesday, I've been listening to some older Radiohead tracks, some familiar and some new to me. That shit's eye-opening. I've said a few times that I have no compunctions in calling them the best band around right now.
