Thoughts on the movie? I've heard all parents seeing it have had breakdowns in the theater and cry about it still days later. I am wondering if it would have the same effect on kids. Anders is so sensitive but maybe it's only the parents that are reduced to tears?
I loved it -- I thought it was spot-on in how our emotions interplay with one another. The representation of Sadness, in particular, was beautiful. There were occasional points where I got a little weepy, but nothing that made me bawl, or get teary days later. The kids in the theater seemed to enjoy it, although I think this is one of Pixar's more adult films -- there's a storyline in it for kids, but there's a LOT of material that's better appreciated from a more mature perspective.
