Lovely photos! How big are the flowers themselves?

Slightly bigger than the pictures I've posted. They are pretty close to the size of regular petunia flowers, maybe a little smaller :)

Very pretty. I'm so jealous :)

Do you spend a lot of time in the garden? Just wondering how much effort other people put in. I'm quite lazy, but I do water them every day. (Especially with this heat!)

With the heatwave, I have pretty much been in the garden every evening. Most of the time I'm just sitting in the sun, but been probably spending a couple of hours a week weeding. Everything is pretty much running along by itself though. I did buy quite a few bedding plants this year, though the salpiglossis were grown from seeds pretty quickly and easily. Like you, most of my gardening is just watering at dusk. Or at least, it was until today - the rain has finally arrived, boo!

I love them :) I was a bit hesitant about sowing them at first as last time I grew them they were mainly yellow with brown veining - not too pretty - but this packet was far more successful :)
