Everyone has such happy posts about their grad/med school. It makes me giddy :). I can't wait.

I also feel really cool right now because I own a 1945 monograph from the very beginnings of my field. The last sentence in the introduction is:

How neat to own such a thing! I just remembered that I had wanted to comment on your application essay a few entries back and never got around to it. I had really enjoyed reading it, and think you'll do great.

I haven't gotten any feedback on it yet. I would love to have some!

I was thinking about the part where I mention my questions inspired by the Pallas paper, and instead of just mentioning questions, I wondered if I should incorporate some of the theory that Searle (philosopher) has regarding these issues. In particular, in one of his books he asks what would happen if such an experiment should be done (this was written before the experiments I mention). So including it would be somewhat interesting, and show that I've read more about the topic, but it might be unnecessary and take up too much room.

Anyway, I would love feedback!!
