I wholeheartedly agree with my friend Kirk when I say 2009 feels exactly like 2008 so far. I have a good feeling about tbhe upcoming year though. This year I plan to get a new awesome job, my driver's license, and maybe a pet (this is contingent on the new awesome job and how much I make). I am seriously contemplating adopting a parrot

Sorry, Taryn, but I'm not coming over to take out your trash. Heh, I have my own to worry about. But it's good to hear you have so much good stuff planned for 2009. I don't know what the deal is, but it you're not the only person crossing into the new year without a car. I'm sure Sami's still working on the car fund, and Meghan's friend Mike is also carless, which is actually highly unusual for him.

I can't wait 'til Meghan and I can get our house sorted out enough to have people over without being embarrassed by the clutter when we give them the grand tour. It's a slow process, especially since we're both working during the week. Blargh. But you'll definitely be one of the first people we invite over once the sorting is near completion.

score :) The trash actually got taken out and the dishes are being done. My room is STILL clean (somewhat miraculously) but my glasses broke :( My sister is taking me to get new ones today though. A new look for 2009 i guess. crazy.

Out with the old and in with the new, eh? I like it. Sucks about your glasses, though. I remember mine always getting bent all to hell when I used to do martial arts. I'd have to readjust them, like, every single day 'cause I'd get clobbered and tossed around.

But at least your room has remained clean! That's something, right?! ;-]

i picked out new glasses and sunglasses on saturday and I am excited about them :) I will try to post pics of them once they are ready. My glasses actually broke because my sister's dog headbutted me, pretty unique way to get your glasses broken, huh? haha
