Who's touring in the next few months?

I'm a bit behind with music news, and I just realised I've barely been to any gigs lately. I think the last one I went to was Fightstar in Portsmouth in May. I'm having withdrawal symptoms, I used to go to them every couple of weeks (and it doesn't help that Johnny Panic haven't gigged since December... or that I don't get in for free at the moment ( Read more... )

Haha oh I don't mind The Get Up Kids, I'll see if they're gonna be in Brighton... problem is, LOADS of bands atm are skipping Brighton and doing like, Portsmouth or Southampton, it's so annoying! I can get to London easily, it's getting back that's a pain 'cause the last train is like 10pm, rubbish! So I have to go to another station 20 minutes away, so I only really go there if it's a band I'd love to see, whereas I'm happy to see any old band here. Oh well, such is life, it's just strange 'cause there were always at least a couple of gigs a month in Brighton that were really, really good bands, yet this year there isn't even one?! What's going on!?

See! Obviously we're just not cool enough. :-p

I think it's because they figure they should do somewhere on the south coast, and Brighton has a really cheap, quick connection with London plus it's smaller than Portsmouth & Southampton, so they choose one of those. :-( It's so annoying! Brighton has some really good venues, too.
