i don't know if i ever told you my tutor taught matt (and dom)
and told me that he kept coming into class with his guitar

and my tutor said to him he would get nowhere playing that guitar

then in 2004 he saw muse at glastonbury

Haha, strangely enough, I was at the ceremony where he was given that honorary degree!! My (now ex-) boyfriend was graduating, and at the end they just announced that there were three "very special" people present, then they listed their names (and I thought, hrm, Matthew Bellamy sounds awfully familiar!), and then up they came! Brilliant :D

I knew someone else had mentioned meeting up but couldn't (and still can't!) find the original comment anywhere! :( It was such a whirlwind visit anyway that I'm not sure I would have been able to *sigh* Brighton is incredible though, I absolutely loved it and want to move there next September now for sure! Can't wait to apply :D
