iPod Classic vs. iPod Touch/iPhone

Yesterday, I got to play with the iPod Classic. I love its look and capacity and, unlike other people, I am loath to declare this particular flavour of iPod on the brink of extinction. I think that's an excellent analysis of the current iPod situation. I too am attracted to the classic 160 for the same reason. I currently own a first generation nano of 4g capacity, and it's quite limiting. I have 570 songs on there, podcasts, and an audio book. (The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins.) If I were to put my entire CD collection on iTunes I'd certainly need the 160. Though it's not too difficult to manually manage what you transfer to a smaller capacity iPod, it would be easy to just sync and go with everything ( ... )
