 Two weeks ago, when we went on our first Superior Hiking Trail hike, we chose the section we were going to hike over a month in advance. We had studied the section description in our SHT walking guide and the topographical maps until we knew pretty much every bump and funny-shaped tree we were going to pass along the way.
