Well, we had pretty much the quintessential classic all-American Independence Day, I have to say. Which we NEVER do. Well, not as completely as we did this year, anyway. But seriously--camping, grilling, family picnics (complete with frisbee & bocce ball), self-launched fireworks, catching a movie, swimming at a lake beach, and riding jet skis?

I'm so sorry I didn't post my opinion of that movie. I could have saved you the ...uh...well, whatever emotion that film aroused in you, I maybe could have prevented it. I know Darry and I both thought it was pretty bad and Jennifer Padelford told me she wanted to ask for her money back.

On the other hand, Ann and I went to Young at Heart and LOVED it. It's that documentary about the senior citizen singing group that covers stuff you wouldn't expect them to be doing. I highly recommend it.
