Well. Back at work. Christmas break was near-perfect--the only way it could have better is if it had been longer. But even that isn't quite true: although I wasn't keen on getting up this morning, I wasn't that troubled by the prospect of coming back to work. I've kind of missed the kids, truth be told.

Well, we put in an offer on the house on Friday afternoon. We haven't heard anything yet, but that's hardly surprising, considering today is the first business day since the offer went in. I got a bunch of Christmas shopping done on Friday night, the first I've done this season, really. I usually enjoy it more than I expect I'm going to, especially when there aren't many crowds, which I got fairly lucky on.
