Roy Scheider, perhaps best remembered for his role as the police chief in 1975's Jaws, has passed away.

The actor died Sunday at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Scheider had been treated for multiple myeloma at the hospital's Myeloma Institute for Research and Therapy for the past two years and ( Read more... )

Have you ever noticed that certain actors have played more than 1 role on Third Watch? Yvonne Jung (Holly Levine) played the stand-in for Kim's lawyer during the custody battle, and Charles Haid (CT Finney) played a higher-up fire guy in Jimmy's 1st day as Acting Lieutenant. Any others?

 Bobby Canavale is currently starring on Broadway in Thresa Rebecks Mauritius (dont know if this show is affected by the strike sorry)...EW gives it an A and says...
