PILLOW FORT!!! Gotta love a good pillow fort. Darlin son discovered the joys of this most wondrous of creations over New Year's :D.

And what do you man drabbles of doom?! It's supposed to be fun, girlie :P. I really want to write some too, but RL has fried the muse. Hopefully she'll return before the month is out.

Oh, LOL - I remember discovering the advantages of the awesome pillow fort as a child, and it was the best thing ever! I hope your son has as much fun as I did! :)

Hee! It is fun, but stopping myself from going over the 300 word limit for each one is getting difficult. It seems to want to become a chaptered story, so I'm undecided about what to do. :/

What I've noticed that some other people are doing is just breaking up longer chapters into 300-word bits. It's kinda cheating, but not really. OR you can do what forthrightly does sometimes over at dokuga_contest if you really have a chapter story going. She trims her pieces to the required word length (keep the general "essence" of the chappie), but then posts the full-length version on FFN that has all the details.

I actually have pictures of Matt in his pillow fort. He crawled in there with his handheld video game and played in the darkness. His very first "man cave"!

Yeah, I'm thinking of doing the same. Write them as drabbles and if I end up with something workable, perhaps re-write or adapt as chapters. :S Posting a few at a time might help too. :) Thanks for the advice!

Aww! <3 There's something so comfortable about burying yourself in pillows and blankets. Tempting to go and get some now!
