Hello! I just joined this wonderful community. I'm a huge fan of Tick.. Tick.. Boom!, Rent, and especially Raul Esparza. I fount TTB after spending months listening to Rent and Raul's performance in Rocky Horror and being stunned by both. I've been following Raul's career since early summer 2001, when i saw him in TTB. He is by far the most talented nan ever. Then i saw him in Cabaret, didn't like the show, but loved him so it was all good, then went and saw Comedians, just 3 rows away, i totally flipped out, he was amazing ofcourse. I had tried to meet him everytime i saw him in a show and finally! on november 26 when i saw him in Taboo for the first time, i met him, im such a loser, i cried, not uncontrollable sobbings but it was like amazing, he could not have been a nicer guy.just so sweet. He was amazing in the show, i even chose Taboo as the topic for my art final. dont think the teacher liked it too much but oh well, i liked doing it. i'm really bummed that Taboo is closing cause it really was a great show. but i got to see it twice (met raul for the second time-cried alittle then too -wow i gotta stop that-) and with it closing, it just means ill get to see him in something else =)
