Oh, Mondays

So my roommate's quasi-boyfriend has gradually made the evolution from atheism to vague agnosticism to Christianity to that unnervingly negative level of conservative religion that leads to problems.  And it got me thinking about religion.  Most of which I think is really cool and positive and powerful, and some of which scares me to un- ( Read more... )

The guilt thing makes no sense. You do work when we have work to give you, which is for an admittedly smaller window of time than what you're here. I think it also bears saying that most of your afternoon was actually spent trying to convince people that what they REALLY wanted to do today was come to a class. Which sounds so much more official than making teeny tiny libraries.

You know lately I've just become apathetic about religion. If god is there great, but if (s)he's not there then that's alright as well. I just don't have time to have worshiping this all powerful being. I'm pretty sure (s)he knows how great (s)he is. I think what (s)he would want us to do is lead a happy life, and try to make life better for everyone else.

I also like my dad's belief on hell. There is none! We are all forgiven because God is love. That means there's even hope for us Kelsey...

There's still hope...
