I just got home from the lukemia walk at UCLA. 
This was the first year without Lois, and this might sound weird, but it felt like she was there. Not in a creepy way, but in that nice, motherly way she had.
I miss her a lot.

sometimes.. they primarily eat seaweed, and if it's low tide then it's possible that they will be on the shore. i almost stepped on one a few years back, when i was still living in palos verdes.. we were tide pooling in san pedro (at point fermin i think.) it was THE scariest/weirdest thing to ever happen to me at the beach.
OH BUT RANDOM FACT TIME!: they are considered to be sea hares, and are the only hare that do not "ink". (all others produce vivid purple ink!)
