i went to the blood bank today and THEY WOULDNT LET ME DONATE!!

i'm stupid and i told the truth about peircing my own ear... i was with my mom i couldnt lie. and its really not cool cos they have this board with info on what types of blood they need right now and it said they need O+ which is my blood ( Read more... )

hey... not to bring you down or anything, but next year they'll reject you too... being vegan lowers the amount of iron in your bloos, so unless you take a bunch of supplements, they'll say your blood isnt heavy enough! that happened to me at the blood drive at EHS.... they were like "you are not anemic, but you need to eat more meat" hahahaha

yeah, ive donated once before and it wasnt a problem... so hopefully it wont be in a year. dude b12 scared me.... i keep thinking that if you take b12 supplements its just like a pill made of beef fat.

Yeah, the same happened to me after I got a tattoo and tried to donate. They're very strict. Only 5% of the population qualifies, and even then only half of the people that donate come back when they're able to donate again. I've been donating blood for about two years now. I'm glad I'm still able to, especially after the victims in the fires around here.
You probably could try going to a different donation center (i.e. instead of going to the Blood Bank, just go to a regular donation center like the one off of Vineyard and Fourth st. I'm almost positive they don't share files.)

Hahahaha that's where i live vineyard and fourth. Maybe i should donate. but they wouldn't let me b/c i'm anemic : / and I have sickle celled blood (i don't have sickle cell anemia just my cells warped from prolonged lack of iron). Yup go to the vineyard one try it. Ummm the 60 from chaffey takes u straight there.
