6.Thinking

I've been thinking about that forest a lot recently.  About how no one wants to go in there. It seems to me that the hardest man to beat is always the one that has the most to offer.

Perhaps there's something important in there, something we're supposed to find. I mean, there has to be a reason that all the evils of this place have gathered there. ( Read more... )

Perhaps. Once I have a more suitable weapon and my magic back, if I'm lucky, I wouldn't be opposed to searching the woods. The trees are still alive, that must mean there's a water source of some sort nearby...

That, or perhaps they're monsters like everything else here...?

There are definately monsters there. Most likely more than anywhere else in Discedo, that we know of so far.

Just getting close enough to hear the monstrous moans coming from those trees make me cringe.

Heh. Almost reminds me of home. It's unfortunate that these beasts aren't under my control, though. That would make things so much easier.

Heh. And what would you do if they were?

You have a deathwish, Zack.

I wouldn't go in there.

Not even if it meant a way out?

You don't know if there is.

But it does seem as if the forest is protecting something. I just mean ... it's not as if we're invincible. The monsters are the worst on that side of Discedo, I promise you.

Yes, which is exactly why I'm so eager to head in there. I've always been incredibly reckless, and not to mention just as curious.

But come on it's just so...obvious.
Pretty soon it's going to be the only place we haven't checked, and we're going to have to go in there eventually anyway.

You're probably right. I'd offer to go with you, but my ammo isn't going to last forever... and hand-to-hand fighting with things that don't have hands isn't the most fun thing in the world.

Well there's no way I'm heading in there any time soon.

Much later, after everything's taken care of here. I still have to help Harry with those apartments and help Cybil with securing the police station. So much to do...

Plus, no one is in any condition to go in there at the present time, not even myself.

Let's just hope curiousity doesn't kill your cat before then.

We'll see.

What's your name I don't think I've ever officially met you before.

see the forest for the trees for the forest for the eyes for the head for the synapses for the god with one eye bartered for wisdom who looks over and picks out the finest of warriors, snatches them up when they're dead, just so they can die again in war

war, war, war, over and over, even when you're dead

find the god with one eye and castrate him

I hate riddles.
And I hate war.

So when you want to start making sense, then we'll talk.
