your words secondary to the lips speaking them burntnorton February 29 2004, 06:03:17 UTC
you give me a big heart
and i would have problems pronouncing your name; i don't do subtle endings. ever.

mere speculations burntnorton February 29 2004, 06:24:36 UTC
speaking thus, i borrow a voice when i need it to talk. never mind the pressure in my mouth forcing it up all wrong and from the stomach not the heart and making mute my mind. in writing you see the trail of the words in front of you and thus strengthening the sourcing and finalising of thought.

howsoever plunging present pastwards, the redness of your lips is transposed into the redness of your words - and i mean that the gaps inbetween words and movements of speech, the delicate indivisable silences bereft of tongue, shape round your vowels and inform meaning. yes you kiss the echoes with adulterated song, and i breathe to hear that voice.
