It's raining here, too! (a little hail as well which is not as fun).

Anyway, it's green and lovely. In springtime, I always go around quoting Legolas: "Ah, the green smell! It is better than much sleep."

Rainy days are my favorite! Though hail kind of scares me (the house I grew up in had skylights in the living room - right over the piano - and after seeing hail break them at least three times I have been a bit nervous around hail).

In the autumn I switch to using "the gentle fall of the bright year in the woods" from FOTR: "They [Frodo and Bilbo] spoke...of the fair things they had seen in the world together, of the Elves, of the stars, of trees, and the gentle fall of the bright year in the woods." I just love that description of autumn.

Do you actually own polka-dotted wellies? Because that's sheer brilliance. (Though I can't say I love rain- Unless I'm home reading something Victorian while it's pouring outside.) Mostly I'm a fan of freezing but sunny days. Or seriously overcast skies but no rain. (Love Normandy... I was on hols there once and the sky was like that. I went all romantic at that...) Oopsie.

I do and I probably look about ten kinds of ridiculous running around in those and a short skirt but I don't especially care :D

Oh I love days like those too! I'm just not overly fond of hot days with too much sun. I always end up looking like a lobster D:
