Once when I was 7 I caught a bee and kept him in an aquarium/terrarium and gave him bologna to eat. He did not eat the bologna. He died.

When I was seven my dad jostled a bee's nest under the shed where the lawn mower was kept. A bee flew out and stung me in the eyelid. (!) It hurt.

I got stung on the inner nose/almost eye part once! It swole me up so bad I was unrecognizable. No, seriously, my mom came to pick me up from camp and walked right by me. :)

When I was around that age we caught a small frog and put him in a big fish bowl...one that my mom just washed in the dishwasher and was still scalding hot. Then we put a book on the top to keep him inside.

It didn't end so well.
