My best friend just got a job as a pollster in a swing state.
He quit after one day.
Apparently in Albuquerque it's still ok to say "I ain't votin' for a nigger" and slam the door.
He even met a female registered Democrat who is voting for McCain because she "thinks we really need him right now."

Funny, because New Mexico is nearly impossible to poll accurately.

I have a lot of hope that Obama can win. I say a small prayer every now and then --- not that he'll win, but that people won't let their hate and fear keep them from considering voting for Barack.
