I borrowed the Skeptical Environmentalist from the library but never finished it, but I mean to give a second try soon.
I am pro muck-raking facts but pretty much anti muck-raking attitude. And the way he went on about the Litany induced much teeth grinding. It's interesting that he hasn't been in the media recently with The Inconvenient Truth as the summer blockbuster and everything. Or better yet, why talk radio hasn't managed to get him on to refute the pinko femninazi hippies.
First retrospect, then you and Meaghan! The wastelands of Simon's memory is proving to be quite the pot-boiler.
Me? I do not reside in Simon's wasteland. In a way, you could say that he resides in mine. But yes, it is quite the pot-boiler. It's a wonder he hasn't been reduced to a charred husk of flesh yet. Maybe next time.
And yes, I noticed that he has not emerged in the face of An Inconvenient Truth (Lomborg, not Simon). I'm digging into this bit further for the sake of arguing with Simon, so I shall eventually find out why. If all else fails, I may even write to his publisher, who knows.
