1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?
Well, I'd be twenty-one. I just wouldn't know that I was twenty-one.

2. Which is worse, failing or never trying?
Never trying, technically. I'm not sure I always live by that, however.

3. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?
Because unfortunately, that's the way the world works. Our society is built so that you go to work every day, spend all your money on things that will never make you happy, and then in the four weeks you can take as holiday every year, you're generally too tired to bother doing anything worthwhile anyway.

4. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?
I hope not.

5. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?
Get rid of poverty. Boring, I know.

6. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich?
If happiness was currency, so long as I quite my current job, I'd be really rich.

7. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?
I'm settling for what I'm doing right now, but once I finish university I'll be doing something better. Something that matter a bit more than fuelling the addictions of middle aged and elderly men.

8. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?
I'm not sure I'd do anything differently. I'll have a lot of things I want to do out of the way by the time I'm like, 23. Then I could play for 7 years, then settle down for 10.

9. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?
Not brilliantly up until the last year and a half or so.

10. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?
Doing the right things? I'm not really sure.

11. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do?
I'd have a word if it was really unjust and they kept on.

12. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?
Well, nothing, because they wouldn't understand anyway.

13. Would you break the law to save a loved one?
Of course.

14. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?
I don't think so, no.

15. What’s something you know you do differently than most people?
I dunno, really. I don't dress much like anyone I know, and I talk a bit different. :/ I'm not overly unique. I never really think about it.

16. How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?
Because some people are shallow and materialistic, and weak. And nothing's ever enough for people like that.

17. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back?
Teach abroad, and I'm on the way. Once uni's over I'll be gone.

18. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?
Maybe. But nothing serious.

19. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?
Japan or Korea. Japan because it looks like win, and Korea because all my other friends are there :]

20. Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?
I have done in shopping centres and stuff. I don't believe it makes it faster, but it makes me feel better.

21. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?
Joyful simpleton.

22. Why are you, you?
Because of the people I know and the things I've experienced.

23. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?
I like to think that I'm a good friend to those who matter.

24. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?
When a friend moves away, I guess, because if you lose touch with a good friend who lives near you, its your own fault for not making enough effort.

25. What are you most grateful for?
My friends.

26. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?
Lose my old ones. I've got more life ahead of me than behind me. And it'd be like Memento where I'd have to write everything down.

27. Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?
Uhm... No?

28. Has your greatest fear ever come true?
No.

29. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now?
I remember a time 4 years ago when I was really upset, and it's had a bit of a negative effect on me, but that's not to say it still matters.

30. What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special?
I don't remember much from being a child.

31. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive?
If not now, then when?
Now, because I'm the happiest I've ever been, and I'm not having to rely on anyone else for it.

32. If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?
-

33. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?
No, not really.

34. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?
Because a lot of them only support love towards their own people, or that's how they are interpreted. They preach that their belief is the only true one, and therefore you end up challenging the beliefs that people base their lives around which is understandably upsetting.

35. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?
No, of course not.

36. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?
I'd quit this job. I'd get a different one, though.

37. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?
More work I enjoy doing, I reckon.

38. Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?
Not a hundred, but enough.

39. When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?
Probably when I flew to Korea the first time :/

40. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?
Sam, Hayley and Jonny, My mum and nan and Jimi.

41. Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous?
I dunno, maybe?

42. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?
Being alive is just strolling through each day without trying to make anything better for yourself. Living is doing everything you want to do and living for yourself.

43. When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right?
It's always that time.

44. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
Because nobody likes to be wrong.

45. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?
I'm not sure. I'd probably just be more upfront about my feelings.

46. When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing?
When I was sick and wheezing.

47. What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?
My friends, and life. I think my 101 list expresses that pretty well.

48. In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday? What about the day before that? Or the day before that?
Yesterday we invited Rob Lee on the roadtrip. The day before, we took Sophia under our wing a little bit.

49. Decisions are being made right now. The question is: Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?
I'm making my own decisions for the first time in my life, and I wouldn't change it for the world.

I think maybe I was supposed to split one of those questions to make it 50. Oh well. Another task done :]
