I have a hard time when it comes to answering questions about my family and/or lifestyle. There used to be a day when I would openly share the details of my Springer-like upbringing, but that day passed after I grew up and realized how horrible and attention starved it sounded. Some of the things I've done could be considered selfless, but I'm still just as selfish as the rest of the world.

Sometimes when people love others they care, and what to know what experiances that person has had and what they have gone through. You continue to show how much of a human being you are. You truely seem to be loved do not shut them out. Let them see and walk through your valley of death (not some weird sexual metaphor!)

Maybe you're right. Maybe I am trying too hard to close myself off from the rest of the world. I guess it all manifests itself in the fact that I opened up to quite a few people in the past and got nothing back from it. The people I see now, I don't see them giving much to me so perhaps I'm avoiding "giving it up" at all costs.
