When they had arrived back at the flat after dealing with the Sl'tek demon, Wesley had got a towel from the bathroom and gone into the kitchen to make some tea while Buffy went into the bedroom. Something had been niggling in the back of his mind the entire way, so when he had returned to the lounge, drink in hand, he had found himself pulling out one of his books and sitting down on the couch

When Wesley started on about how the demon wasn't acting right, Buffy's brow creased in worry. She'd been a Slayer long enough to know when demons started to act differently, something wasn't right. Demons, unlike humans, were predictable. She was almost tempted to pick up a few of the books herself, but was distracted by Wesley kissing her

When Buffy mentioned that she was picking up his bad habits, Wesley chuckled softly, shaking his head. He had never used to be so scattered about his books; in fact, before he had arrived in Sunnydale, he had been quite exacting about keeping books in order and neat. But after spending time researching in real world situations where often they didn't have time to consider such nicities as keeping things straight when they had to find something and then go, he had become quite a bit less fastidious about things

Buffy liked it when Wesley touched her. Sometimes, she wanted to pinch herself to make sure all of this was real. Her former Watcher was now her lover, and boyfriend. “God, Wes,” she moaned when he cupped her breast. She shuddered under his touch and moaned, wanting more. “I think you can probably warm me up

Buffy was having a wonderful dream. Wes and her were out in the middle of a meadow, naked, and making love. It was so warm and nice. Wesley was whispering words of love and asking about....tests? Opening her eyes, Buffy saw that she wasn't in the meadow, but in their bed. She lazily blinked at Wes before looking at the clock

When Buffy said she didn't have a test, Wesley let out a soft sigh of relief. It was silly to worry, Buffy could take care of herself after all, but he didn't want to be accused of being a bad influence on her

Buffy took the pills and washed them down with some coffee as Wes started talking about going to some bookstore. She sighed and glanced toward the window. It was still gray and rainy out. Buffy knew this was important but she wanted to stay home and snuggle with Wes instead. Between fighting demons, him researching and her studying, it was a rare thing to have a day to themselves

Wesley groaned as he felt Buffy push against his hand, her muscles contracting around his fingers. She was so hot, in so many ways. And hearing her list off the naughty things she had done caused him harden, especially when she mentioned wanting to touch him when they had been working together in Sunnydale. He had forced himself not to think about her that way at the time, knowing how much trouble he would have got into, but now, looking back on it, he couldn't help but wonder what that might have been like

“I’ll always be naughty for you, Wes. You and only you,” Buffy whispered. “Always.” She knew she was basically saying she wanted to be with him forever, and she didn’t care. Buffy had never felt this way about anyone before, not even Angel, and she’d be lying if she said she never thought about marrying Wesley and settling down

The noises Buffy made and the way she moved spurred Wesley to move faster within her. Though he'd never hurt her, couldn't imagine ever doing anything that would hurt her, he wanted to hear her scream. He wanted to that knowledge that he was the man who made her feel this way - that he made her feel the way she made him feel that. There were times he wanted to scream from the rooftops that he loved Buffy Summers, that he would always love her
( ... )
Once the words were out of her mouth, Buffy grimaced. What in the heck was she thinking? Wesley wouldn't want to marry her. She was too young and a Slayer. Slayers rarely lived long enough to get married and have children. They weren't supposed to marry their Watchers, and she was pretty sure Wesley was going to laugh at her.
When he sat up and pulled her to his lap, she waited for him to let her down. Buffy looked at him and opened her mouth to tell him to forget about it when he spoke first. Wait, what? Wesley wanted to marry her? "You better not be teasing me. I can kick your butt all over the place, you know," she said, giving him a stern look
