[The PokeGear is dropped and flipped open with a jarring sound, revealing Firion on the outskirts of Cherrygrove City. He's slumped over to the side, after being accidentally knocked over in his dazed state, and a Pokemon is nudging him. Firion pushes himself up and gets a chest full of Girafarig again, pushing him down and nudging him.]Wh-What do ( Read more... )

[ He almost doesn't see Firion, too immersed in his own thoughts while his feet take him toward the Pokecenter. It wasn't so long ago since he finally caught his tormentors (and ducked out of the conversation with Cecil) and he was intent on getting pokemon healed and leaving Cherrygrove with no one the wiser.

[ At the sound of the familiar weapons master voice, however, Squall's head jerks. Scanning he surroundings, he finds his ally slumped against the wall. Inwardly he winces at the sight of Firion (what he did to the other man yesterday was still fresh in his memory, as was the guilt along with it), gritting his teeth before he notices the weird pokemon nudgging him.

[ Without a second thought, Squall releases his newly evolved Gyarados and calls out one word ]

Bite.

[It's a bit hard to miss the Gyarados suddenly appearing and his eyes widen, looking for the owner. He manages to spot Squall and shakes his head.]

Squall, call him back. This one is doing no harm! Ow... quit it.

[It nudged his neck again. What did it want anyway? Food? Shelter? Firion tries to get it to go away by pushing it. He didn't want it hurt either, even if it was one of the ghost Pokemon to cause the nightmares from before.]

[Cecil has seen that video and is now waling towards them. Oh, Squall got here already. Looks like things will go just fine.]

I suppose that if you had to end up with a clingy Pokémon, a giraffe would be better than the enormous purple snake that young man had.

[He'll just be off to the side, watching you guys deal with it. You seem to have it under control.]

[ Squall stares at Firion for a moment, frowning very severely before turning his head in a scoff. His Gyarados, however, stopped as soon as the fatiqued weapons-master spoke instead of following through with Squall's command. He sighs, holding out his dragon's ball ]

Return.

[ Staying firmly away from Firion, not moving closer (or walking off), Squall mutters to himself ]

Just looked like it did.
