[A red paw accidentally knocks into the 'Gear and it turns on, revealing the inn Firion and Light have been staying in, awaiting their friends' arrival. A lump in the bed moves and it's revealed to be Firion. The Vulpix he received from Cecil is snuggling with him. He doesn't do well with the cold and she was like a space heater in the bed. [Firion wasn't the only one asleep, though Light isn't exactly curled up under the blankets with a fire pokemon the way Firion is. He's more resistant to cold, apparently. His own egg is wrapped loosely in a towel and near the head of his bed.

The shaking of Firion's egg doesn't wake him up, but the sound of the Pokedex definitely does. He stirs, and lifts his head just as Firion speaks.

After a moment of silently observing the pokemon, he sits up- he's not going to bother going back to sleep.]

So it hatched. The name is appropriate, it seems.
