i never saw anything special in alot of hardcore bands, anyway.

the bands are a dime a dozen.
and so are the fans.

and being an elitest rules.

No offense, but people that complain about what the scene is really piss me off. I know we come from two different scenes but that’s irrelevant. If there is something in the scene you don’t like you can either complain about it until peoples ears bleed or you can try to make a change. If you don’t plan on trying to take action and make a change, then what is the point of complaining? I will and do love hardcore regardless of the condition of the scene. However, I take as much pride in my scene as I do in hardcore itself. Mainly because where I come from it’s not about who you know. I’m sure you are guiltier of name dropping then you would like to give yourself credit. At the same time, I probably am as well. You have to remember that everyone is new and has to start out somewhere. Not only that, but some people just want to fit in. The hardcore scene embraces those who are different. Don’t simply brush off the “new jacks”, give them an honest chance. That’s me getting all Rick ta Life on you.

Another thing while I'm at it. The majority of people who are into hardcore at this point in time arn't really into hardcore. It's more of the metalcore/noisecore stuff. In my opinion hardcore is more punk then metal. I'm not saying that I don't get into metalcore, I like some of it. However, noisecore is not my thing. Tight pants and gay hair goes hand and hand with noisecore. There are two types of people who are into hardcore. Those who there from the beging, those would be your old heads, those are the ones who are more into the hardcore punk style. There are also those who before listening to hardcore listened to Korn and whatnot. Those are the ones who are more into the metalcore aspect ( ... )
