is it so wrong to learn? i mean the actual act of learning. i was under this apparently silly notion that a university is where you did this kind of thing. i didn't know i had to come to college already smart ( Read more... )

Hey, I had a Gibbs flashback last night. A new friend of mine invited me to a show on campus that was free. He didn't know the what the show was just that it was free, and as it began I noticed it took place in Ancient Greece... Then I heard the main character's name was Lysistrata (sp?)... I about peed my pants when I recognized the show from what we learned in Theatre History. Where the all the women withhold sex to end the war, so their sons and husbands can come back home. Do you remember that?! Needless to say, my friend was impressed that I knew the show within the first 3 minutes heh.
