I am not so sure I like the 'new' Livejournal. It seems unorganized to me and I see a lot of crap I don't really want to. My main page today was filled with celebrity news and other biased news feed garbage. I'd rather they just show me my Friend's Page and skip all that crap. I don't come here for news. I come here for friends

I have no idea what the LJ front page looks like because I haven't gone there in years. My daily perusal bookmark goes directly to my friends page.

As for LJ, yeah I don't even know what goes on here anymore. I have bookmarked my "Friends" feed and that's pretty much it, apart from the compose page. Although I compose from Dreamwidth and it auto-crossposts to LJ so I don't even see that page on LJ.

It still works though, and LJ is a fabulous place to dump your thoughts, tag it, and have it be archivable. That's tough to get in pretty much all other social media.
